True Romance

For Ed and Cindy , seeing"Forever Tango" in 1999 was the turning point that converted them from ballroom dancers to tangueros.

Married for 36 years, with two grown sons, they are so addicted to Tango that their three year old granddaughter, Charlie, is the only reason that would make them cancel a Tango-related event (barring an emergency, of course). "She is the apple of our eyes," explained Cindy, who, like Ed, is clearly passionate about being a grandparent.

Their other passion, Argentine Tango, keeps them dancing at least once or twice a week. "One thing we know," said Cindy,"it helps for a couple to be captivated by the same activity. I mean not only to be enthralled by it, but for both to be equally passionate about it. And we're lucky to have found it in Tango!"
