There are times when listening is not enough, times when you or your loved ones may find life so challenging that it is difficult to handle every day tasks and social interactions. At such times, it is important to know who your resources are; Eduardo, a psychiatrist for more than 20 years, is a good person to know. An MD who studied in Argentina before completing an internship at Mt Sinai in Chicago, Eduardo trained for 3 years training at the Illinois Psychiatric Institute in Chicago and is board certified in Illinois and California. Experienced in hospital settings, he is on staff at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights and at Holy Family in Desplaines.

He sees geriatric patients for such conditions as anxiety, dementia, agitation and confusion; kids from 8-12 yrs who are Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD); adolescents who need to be hospitalized for drug addiction or depression; women suffering from post-partum depression etc. In short, he works with any form of mental illness, with those facing brief hospitalization or long term outpatient therapy. He is also available to prescribe psychotropic drugs for severe psychiatric illness, and, as a last resort, to administer electric shock treatment.

The first consultation is billed as a basic office visit. He sees patients on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30-5:30 p.m., by appointment, at 120 West Eastman Streeet, Suite 207, Arlington Heights, Il 60607.
