If you are tired of endless hours in department stores, searching for that elusive "perfect fit," then can save you aggravation and create clothing that is heaven-made for you. If you have never met Lilia personally, just look for the most breathtakingly original outfit at Tango; she can create anything with her magic touch, as her clientele (women only) will testify.

Whether full-figured or petite, women can bring in pictures from magazines or show her a favorite outfit, or, better still, let her custom tailor an outfit from scratch. Her specialty includes evening gowns, fun dresses, bride's maids dresses, skirts and pants. She can also alter existing clothing --including expensive St. John fashions -- to look like new.

Re-lining, shortening sleeves, putting in new zippers or cutting silk on the bias are no problem for her; she can handle all professional aterations, including leather and suede, and does offer alterations for men, specializing in leather apparel.

Lilia works by appointment only. The turn around time for alterations is
two weeks; custom- made items require 30 days.
