Vanessa

anessa… Private Tutor

Vanessa is a private tutor with a passion. She knows how to help kids gain confidence in
schoolwork, and reminds them that it can even be fun. She has helped students enjoy and
excel in one of the most daunting educational experiences: standardized testing. For the past
three years, she has worked as a tutor for The Princeton Review, exacting phenomenal
improvements in students’ SAT, GRE, GMAT and LSAT scores.

What do her students have to say about her?

Vanessa puts forth more effort and care into her teaching than most professors I have known.

– LSAT student, in a final evaluation.

You rocked as a teacher!

– Nathaniel, improved from the 50th to the 94th percentile on the GMAT

Thank you for being so dedicated to our class. I think the past six weeks (or whatever it was)
gave me confidence I never would have had.

– Abby, past LSAT student.

I don't learn easily nor do I learn traditionally.  Thanks for all of your help AND for believing
in me the whole way.
– Vic, improved from the 60th to the 96th percentile on the GMAT

Vanessa began teaching when she was fifteen years old. She started as a diving coach at her
local pool. Then she served in Volunteers in Service to America, as a drama therapy
counselor for disadvantaged youth in Washington, D. C. She has received Cultural Arts
Council Grants to teach poetry in the schools, and has tutored high school and college
students in most academic subjects. A National Merit Scholar, Vanessa graduated from
Rice University with honors, and is currently pursuing an MFA in Writing from the School
of the Art Institute of Chicago.

If You Would like Vanessa as an SAT teacher for your child, or if you are considering a
Master's degree and haven't taken a standardized test in decades, call The Princeton
Review at 773-868-4400
. Ask what class sessions Vanessa is teaching, or request her as a
one-on-one tutor.
However, for more reasonable rates, Vanessa would love to tutor anyone
in any academic subject. To enlist the help of this friendly, nurturing academic overachiever,
